This week’s weigh-in was not a terribly happy one. I didn’t gain any weight, but I only lost 1.1 pounds. Although I ate according to the plan and walked every day, I didn’t lose the weight I expected to lose. I was hoping to push my loss over the 5o pound mark.
Enter my coworker, “the role model.” He has lost over 100 pounds on a different diet and exercise program. In one statement, he brightened my day with the phrase, “Every pound is a victory!”
How do you stay motivated when you do the right things but don’t seem to be getting the desired results?
