Broiled Tomatoes Parmesan

This afternoon I saw a post on the UAMS Weight Loss Facebook Page for broiled tomatoes parmesan.  While I never really liked tomatoes raw, I’ve learned to love them roasted.  This looked like an easy, low-calorie recipe, so I decided to pick up a tomato on the way home from work today.  Here’s the fruit of my labor.

The original recipe called for balsamic vinaigrette.  I used Walden Farms zero-calorie balsamic vinaigrette.  The original recipe called for fresh basil.  I used Mrs. Dash Tomato Basil Garlic seasoning.  The original recipe called for grated parmesan.  I used the sprinkly stuff in the tall green can.  You know what?  It was good.
