Phew! Today has been consumed with cooking, cleaning, eating, and blogging. My final meal is an evening snack.
You’ll note that not all of the foods in the plan wound up on my plate. This cup contains a serving of yogurt, a serving of blueberries, and a serving of low fat granola. Absent are one starch and one fat.
Where did they go? Well, what had happened was… I ate one of the delicious black bean brownies, which I counted as one starch plus one fat. Deducting that from my evening snack put the food budget back in balance, and I didn’t feel one bit of guilt. Win-win.
